what can I NOT say?

I am new to this forum and yesterday I answered a question about how kratom was working for me with this tramadol detox.  In any event, this morning I saw a note for MedHelp that said they erased my post because it talked about doses or something.  I want adivce from you guys as to what I can and cannot say on here so I don't get in trouble.  Thanks for any help on this!

Just don't give specific dosing information or exact taper info. It's just because we can't give specific medical advice...we offer more supportive help than specific medical information. Thank you for trying to help though.. Any advice given is appreciated..just be more vague than specific if that makes any sense. Thank you for joining us by the way...any new voices and experiences are greatly appreciated!!!! Why don't you share your story so we are more familiar with you and your situation?  Again...welcome!!!

You must remember that alot of people read your posts, and none of us are doctors (unless you see a post with a yellow doctor's icon).  It is dangerous to talk about specific dosages of meds, or recommend taking them.  This is because if someone were to take advice from you doing so, and they had a bad reaction or even died, that would be awful.  You can mention drugs, and how they help or don't help you, but always remember we are not doctors, and we want to encourage people to see their doctors for professional help, especially when it comes to medication. - Blu
