Help please asap

I have been taking perc everyday for 6 months, about 80mg a day, I took my last one about 18 hours ago. I have been up all night, my skin is crawling and jumping out of itself, I can't sit still. Please help me, I have tried the bath a couple of times, and working out. If this is how it is I can't do it. I need to quit, to be strong but I can't take this feeling.

Hi samiam.. Yes you can do this.. It last 3 our 4 days for the worst you are 1/3 there.. You have only been doing them for 6 mo. If you were to continue to do them for longer when will you be ready ? There has to be a reason why you choose to quit. active drug addiction does not get better nor does it get easier. all it does it take us further down into misery.. You need to get your fighting spirit. fight for your recovery. Our minds are very powerful and if we go into this with a defeatist attitude our addiction will win.. You can do this !! They sell a product Hylands restful leg at drug stores this help a lot with the restless leg Valerian root is inexpensive and helps tremendously with anxiety and the creepy crawlies.. I had to keep moving took as many showers as I had hot water.. Try to find a positiveness about your doing this. Taking your life back the money you will save Not waking up needing dope.. grasp onto anything that will keep you moving forward ok. a few days for a life time of misery is a good investment. Keep reading gain strength thru others.. You can do this !! Take care of you ok for you are the only one that can.. lesa

Hi sam. This too shall pass. The first week is kinda tough but starts letting up some on day 4.   You can do this. I quit 80 to 100 mg habit 24 days ago and I feel great. I quit cold turkey too. It's so so worth not being tied to a pill bottle   Hang in there. Get some vitamin b complex and motrin. I know it's hard to eat but eat as much as u can. I took a ton of baths. Took short drives and I took LOTS of hot baths. Try and keep a positive attitude and know in a few days u will be better I promise. Watch movies or anything to keep your mind busy. Someone on here told me distraction, distraction, distraction. That saying became my moto!! If I did it u can do it. Good luck and keep posting.  This forum made it possible for me to do this. Hugs from Georgia and know u ate not alone. Some people on here quit much bigger habits than us and made it through. Quit this before u end up posting months or years from now with a much worse and longer habit that wds will take weeks or months to get through. Just think about how life will be when u can function without a crutch. Life is so much sweeter on the other side of your addiction. That I can promise you. Buckle up for a few days of a bumpy ride then enjoy your life free and sober. :-)

Hi, welcome here :)

were you taking the pills for pain, i mean, have you any medical condition or are you taking any other meds ? if not,  read the thomas recipe and the amino acid protocol on the health pages ( right side oof your screen ) .....I took valerian root and i really think it helped me ( melatonin can help you with sleep) , along some suplemments... magnesium+calcium and potasium will help you too, immodium for diarrhea, keep on taking hot baths ( with epsom salts if you have them ) ... keep yourself hydrated ( gatorades, green tea, aple/orange juice, tonic water has quinine and helps with RLS ) buy hylands restful legs for the RLS... hang in, samiam :) keep on mind that all those advices don't mean a magical cure but all together they help , it is a matter of counting the hours now but you will soon find yourself counting the days :)
