6 months :P

So a couple of days ago made 6 months off Suboxone...all is going well on that front :) and haven't touched a painkiller stronger than panadol since i put the last of my Nurofen plus on my doctors desk almost 2 years ago :)

On a crappy note this is the third time i have had ZERO hours sleep in a few weeks :( and i never get more than 3-6 hours sleep on days i goto class. I am on dexamphetamine for my ADHD (diagnosed in March) and got off Epilim about a week or so ago (as a mood stabilizer)....i just don't know how to fix my sleeping patterns, I've tried doing the whole take my last dexie dose before bed thing....and taking less... etc ....I'm pretty behind on my assignments now and I'm sick :(

Any ideas? Hope everyone is going well

xo

Epilim is also commonly used as a mood stabilizer/bipolar meds, but yeah it is mainly used for epilepsy...

My doctor that dealt with my painkiller dependence/mental health issues has been away for a couple of months and won't return until july so i had to goto my local doctor and as i mentioned, i have been off them for about a week now...

But this insomnia is really effecting me :\

Epilim is normally prescribed for Epilepsy so I am surprised you were on that. From what I know about it, it can cause some strange side effects. You really should see your doctor and explain what is going on. He/She may even be able to recommend something otc to help counter-balance the side effects until your body stabilizes.

I hope you get to feeling better soon.
