Im no expert, by any means, but it sounds alot like my sleep paralysis experiences. Def when I would take ultram on top of anything. My muscles always jerked from that. Also, my mother in law has a SERIOUS ultram addiction, we were coming home from vacation and all of a sudden she had a grand Mal seizure lasting around 5 min. long. She had 3-4 over the last year, that we know about. So she told her doc who prescribes them, by force BTW, and he says ultram doesnt cause seizures unless your predisposed. I STRONGLY disagree with this, this is a woman who is 100 pounds soaking wet, who does nothing but run and has a clean bill of health otherwise. I think Ultram is much more mind altering then any other pill ive taken, the feeling Ive had feels like what you would think having an "open seizure threshold" would feel like. If that makes any sense.  Anywhooo...I do believe this is a VERY dangerous drug taken in excess, that we may even see on a law commercial "Have you or a loved one suffered seizures while taking this drug" LOL!  Just my opinion.

well..it sounds like RLS//restless leg syndrome...a prescribed dose of tramadol for 2-3 months is very unlikely to cause this...years perhaps if u stopped it suddenly  but not a few months of use....what is ur dose of tramadol?  and have u taken any other narcotics?
RLS is caused by the sudden cessation of narcotics, parkinsons disease, unknown reasons as well....it is caused by a lack of dopamine in the brain....if u have been using a prescibed dose of tramadol for only a few months//i would talk to my doctor as this can be serious if it is not caused by narcotic wd..something that needs to be addressed...why did u seek an addict forum to ask ur question?
