60 days!

Today is day 60 off the norcos. Feeling pretty good about it. Cravings only come up every few days and they don't last too long. I'm not sure if this is normal or just mental but at 30 days I felt like crap(aches, sinus, tired) and I kinda feel like that here at 60 days. Weird..is this normal after quitting? At 30 days the blahs only lasted a couple days then I was fine. But other than that I'm doing great. I'm sleeping great and waking up with energy most days. My emotional state is good the best thing about it all is I love not having to think about pills all the time. I feel like I'm living again, so to all that are out there right now going through the tough physical part of withdrawals, it will get better. Just give it some time. Good luck to all and thanks to everyone that has helped me on these forums. I will continue to read the forums and help those that I can. Just remember, the pain you feel is weakness leaving your body. Thanks again!

Thanks everyone. Yesterday was day 59 and I didn't feel so hot, woke this morning and still felt a little blah and down. It's a beautiful day I took my kid to school went for a walk in the woods and I feel better already. So it was short lived this time(36 hours or so) and I couldn't be happier. Thanks again for everyones responses. Now I'm just excited about my Detroit Red Wings and my Detroit Lions draft tonight. Can't wait!

I am 60 days tomorrow and I have had the blahs for several days. I also started falling asleep for three hour naps about three days in a row. I have some slight feeling down, but I'm getting through it. I guess this is pretty normal reading the responses.

Good for you!!  Yes,the cruddy feeling just comes out of no where and it seems to hit right around a milestone, anniversary date,etc... If you know it you can be prepared! So,just push through it and after a brief time it will become less and less.  Our poor brains just
need time to recover.

First of all CONGRATS on the 60 days!!!  Feel proud because you deserve it.

And also - I do think it's normal to still feel kind of "blah" - I did too.  It wasn't until I hit the 90 day mark that I finally started to turn that corner.  I did still have some rough moments but nothing like I was having prior to that.  And with each day that passes, you are getting stronger and stronger.  It might not always feel like that but you are.  Now go do something you really enjoy and feel good about this HUGE accomplishment.  :)

Congratulations on sixty days !!!  And yes it is normal for that to happen even at one hundred days or more up to a year or so I hear depending on the amount and time you were abusing . Also PAWS can rear its ugly head so maybe you should read up about that as there are some good post about that .. Again well done !  Jimmy
