Avoid the xanax if you can... you are doing great and lack of sleep is something we have to go through. It takes some time for our bodies to get normal, give yourself the time without addicting aids. I know it is hard but try some relaxing tips like going for a walk, taking a hot bath, maybe some melatonin + valerian root ( they are not addicting ) or other non addicting remedies... your sleep will come back, slowly but it will come back... Congrats on your clean week !! :)
Congrats on day seven way to go bud. the sleeping part is hard I have been told that it is the last thing to fall into place but it will. I still have alot of problems sleeping but I can tell you from my exp and its all I have to go on. that it does get better I'm on day eleven and I slept from 2.30am last night til 9.35 this morning dont know how tonight will go butt I'm getten a lil more sleep than I did the first week of this which was none. and today is the very very very very first day time that my legs werent cramping I danced in the bathroom with joy cause for just a lil bit I wasnt hurting but I'm still sweating. congratulations you are doing it big hugs and smiles... hang in there everyday will bring a lil bit of you back its slow but worth every bit of it.
You can make it. It is so worth it. Its hard but before you know it you will be there too. 1,2,3,4 days i was counting the mins. Then all of a sudden, i was saying dam this day is flying by. Keep it up!
oh. and Congratz on making it thru your first week!!!! I cant wait til I get there.
I have always found xanax helpful for sleep. Just be careful because it is addictive, and has a high potential for abuse. The best thing Ive found thats non narcotic is amytriptaline. I doesnt get you high, but when you turn off the tv and close your eyes, you will go to sleep.
