7 days!!!

Finally able to say I'm a week clean! I'm so happy to be able to say that! Things keep looking up! My friends keep telling me how much better I look and how I'm acting like a hyper kid! It's like a can't shut up or stop smiling! I know I'm not out of the woods yet, not by a long shot, but I feel much better knowing I cut all ties and can't get em anymore! Looking into different forms if aftercare as well!!!

Yay! Tomorrow is day #7 for me. It is a good feeling! Last night when I saw my reflection in the mirror I noticed that I actually looked healthier and that was a GREAT feeling as for the past few months when I look in the mirror I haven't liked what I have seen. Congrats and keep up the good work!

Starting day 9!! I've been changing my routine completely! I usually couldn't get outta bed without taking something, now Im up by 7 and taking an hour walk every morning and sometimes in the evening too! I've cut out all bad foods too! Was a rockstar fiend too, but no more of those or soda! Veggies and fruit! Love the natural energy!

I love reading posts where people are feeling better and racking up those clean days.   It makes me happy and I think it is very encouraging to those just starting out.    Congratulations, Jenna Rose and Spentshells!!

Congratulations to you!! I can relate to the smiling! Lol isn't it crazy that we were medicating ourselves like that when we are actually happier not taking anything! Day 30 for me and day 42 for my boyfriend! So happy and proud, everyday does get better!

Good for you....

Now comes the maintenance ...the part that will decide if you'll be reasonably happy in sobriety or miserable...as been said..there is no "one size fits all" aftercare plan but do try something..it really makes a difference,,,
