72 days CLEAN from Methadone!!! WOW!

Greetings all!! Today is day 72 for me & each & every week gets better! Sorry I havent posted much, school has me a little stressed & busy! But It feels great to go about life without dependency. Sometimes life moves so fast, I forget where I was just a few months ago...This SUPER out weighs the dependency! I have longed for this for 10 years...YES 10 YEARS!!! I feel so alive, and I pretty much had forgotten what that felt like! Sleep is scattered still some nights, and I still wake up sometimes in the morning a lil low of energy, but into the shower I go & I am good!! Please peeps, find your inner strength & positivity, it's crucial to this process. If I can do it after 10 yrs, you can!!!! This website gave me knowledge, and friends that I am SO grateful for!! Thank you bunches!!! Jewlz

Glad to see posts from people that have done this deal from methadone. In treatment for four months I met only a handful in recovery from this devil. It is doing me worlds of good to be reminded to look at where I was so I can keep a hold on this thing. CONGRATULATIONS ON UR CLEAN TIME AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORLDS, U HELPED ME STAY CLEAN

Hey there! It is a fight like no other, probably the worse of all addictions, but a fight well worth it in the end. You have to find what works best for you & keeps you sane while doing it. Its super important to stay positive, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to fight to get there. We didnt become addicted overnight, so we dont just get better overnight. But it CAN be done, if I can do it after 10 years, anyone can!! Stay on this site, it is tremendously uplifting!!

That is great! I have a friend/former neighbor that has tried for years to get off that stuff and can't. It has ruined his life having to live with his parents and losing his car even. I know nothing about it only that it is supposed to be much stronger/worse addiction that hydro. If I can ever get to the point you are at (with hydro), I know I will be home free. Congrats!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank You!!!!! You have all been an inspration! Whenever I may have a second of feeling down, I just think back at how long & hard it was to get here & that this is A MILLION times better!!

@Henry- I was actually stricken with the terrible news of losing my 12 year old the same week I jumped....worse experience ever! But I felt ok enough to open my heart to Dixie 2 weeks later when I saw that she was a sweet 3 month old baby who needed a home. I think it helped me heal tremendously, from detoxing, and losing my Sadie...Life is good :)
