boy  you nailed it right on the head...i know its only been 6 days and i realy do want this to work...but i also dont want to relapse...but right now i have this stupid feeling that i can take norco when i off subox and i can handle it...FALSE....i guess thats my hardest thing is being patient and letting the subox work.....i mean who am i kidding...i know my liver couldnt take any more!!  I am getting it checked (blood) test this week...i called my dr. to send me a order to take to the lab  wish me luck  i am kinda scared that i might have actually done damage to my liver!
i guess i want that unrealistic feeling like i had on norco (dont we all)  but i guess thats why i should take everyones advise and find someone to talk to...i have 2 people to call (given by subox dr.)  i just gotta do it....  it took me 4 weeks to call the subox dr.   but i did and i am glad...i know its not going to be easy...so untill the easy part comes i will bug you guys for support and maybe i can even help out someone!!!!   how long are you suppose to be on the subox...my dr is so new to this he hasnt told me very much ...i go for my 2nd appointment on next wednesday!

It took you a LONG time to get where you are....I'm gonna be honest with you-it's going to take a while to get things back to where they should be. You're going to feel blah for a while. When are you supposed to be tapered down to 0 mgs of Sub? As you start to get the drugs out of your system you will start to get your emotions back. You will feel blah and then you will feel very sad and then confused and then happy and then back to blah. Your emotions need to learn how to regulate themselves again. Do you have a counselor you can talk to? Do you have some aftercare? What are you doing about the mental aspect of your addiction?
Let your husband blame away. Right now you need to focus on getting yourself clean. You can deal with everything else later.
You are going to crave the pain pills.... They are part of your routine. You are going to have to come up with a new set of rituals to get you through the day. You can do it though. Let us know who you have to talk to, if anyone.
It's okay to be unmotivated right now. That's normal.
Stay strong. You are getting your life back one day at a time!
