88 Days free

I am 88 days free of Tramadol! I have been doing very good. I am staying busy, have two beuatiful children, and am overall feeling pretty good!

The last couple days though, I cannot help but think about pills and getting some. My mind is telling me that just one refill will be ok and then I will stop. I know that is a lie though. I have 88 days on me, why would I want to ruin that? Is this normal? Will my temptation subside? I need some support!

ALMOST 90 days, so proud of you Kylie. I have almost 7 months and I still think about the energy the trams gave me, so glad you posted!!!!!!!!!  You know I am terribly proud of all you have accomplished and you are one strong woman, give those kiddos a big hug from their terrific mommy, seriously you have done wonderful. We both know it was fake energy but the fact you posted speaks volume's about how far you have come. Much Love

Congrats on those glorious 88 days!
I'm sure your kids have loved having you present.
One thing I didn't notice mentioned though.
You said get one refill.
If you have a refill hanging out there...cancel it...get rid of it.
It's not worth the temptation.
I speak as someone who had those refills just hanging out there and me just saying one more time over and over.
Just stay the course.
It's worth it!

HEY! CONGRATS! The big 9-0 is right around the corner and you are doing beautifully! Just one more is the lie that the addict in us LOVES to say! The important thing is to REFOCUS when you start thinking like that! One is to many and 1000 isn't enough! If you aren't in REAL, LEGITIMATE pain then their is absolutely NO reason to take a pill! :D
Your feelings ARE normal and it's GREAT to see you posting! HANG IN THERE!

You are so close to 90 days! Don't you want me to post for you?? LOL!  I was like you. Just before 90 I was still struggling with "the thoughts" on and off. After 90 something magical happens. Wait for it! You'll be glad you did!

Hey Kylie, yes it is perfectly normal. First, congrats on the 88 days! I know it's been a tough road, especially from Trams. Fight the cravings with everything you've got. Keep yourself distracted and busy. I'm so glad you posted for support! Keep moving forward and think of everything you have been through and accomplished! Take care, and I wish you all the best!

Hi kylie. and great job on the 88. days! Yes this is very normal. Situations will trigger cravings even if it's just exhaustion! You must identify your triggers and plan to beat them in advance. These feelings WILL pass and you know it will never be just one script. Put on some good music and take your mind off it. If your in pain (I hope not) take some time with the heating pad. YOU GOT THIS!

congrats on your 88 days!!! I think it's normal for you to crave every once in awhile. Just try to stay busy if your health will let you. The more days you get behind you the less you will crave. God Bless
