97 days clean so far

I meant to post here when I reached the 90 day mark but things at work were too busy for me to be able to do so.

I think I am past the point of having phantom pains - at least I hope I am.  But, the underlying injuries that I have are really starting to get to me.  Sometimes the pain in my knees and ankles are so much that I feel like I lurch around instead of walking around.

I saw my pain management doctor today and he prescribed Mobic for me - 7.5 mg.  I have not been able to take motrin for many years.  I can occasionally take naproxen or aspirin so I'm hopeful that Mobic will work for me.  Do any of you know anything about it?

I have a pretty good support system in place, people who know what I am doing and why and who care about me.

I am really grateful for this forum because I would never have made it through withdrawals if it wasn't for you kind people here.

As I was told here, I did all of a sudden start to feel like my old self a couple of weeks ago.  My mind is starting to work more like I remember it and I'm starting to get some energy back.  The other day I was able to start cleaning my house and not feel like I was dragging myself around.  For a while I really worried if I was ever going to get energy back - I know it was more than 60 days before I did.  I know I was told here to be patient, but that is sometimes hard to do.  Thanks for your help everyone.

I did not know it was available in a suppository form.  That may really be a good answer for me since I have had problems with a very sensitive stomach.  Thank you so much.

Currently I am not doing acupuncture.  My workman's comp insurance will not pay for any more and I have not been able to afford it out of pocket.    But acupuncture got me through the worst part of going off of narcotics.  I will try to be here more often thank you very much.
