Talk to your Doc about Vyvanse, by the makers of Adderall. Adderall works off the Ph levels and distributes the drug based on the levels throughout the day. Vyvanse is a 12 hour drug as it dissolves in water or fluid in your body. Both are addictive so be careful, Just research has shown that Vyvanse is the least likely to be abused out off the ADD drugs on the market. There are non stimulant ADD med's out there consult with your doctor
I was asking my wife the same thing the other day...my Psychologist said I may have ADD...but, with my history of addictoin, it's one road I wont go down:
It's given to people who have a hard time focusing; some people lack the chemical in their brain and can't focus..problem is, as WHitie said, it's very addicting, Overprescribed and dangerous....for folks that aren't lacking this chemical in their brain and take Adderrall, they then get over-stimulated (i.e. speed)...people that lie to their docs and abuse this med is basically taking speed since they really dont need it...
As Avisg said, talk to your doc...also, do as much research on any med you take or thinking of taking.
I guess your doc suggest it for a reason, other than focusing????
its prescription amphetamine........in other words, speed. it way over prescribed to kids, period
its very addicting and can be very dangerous to a first time user.
avoid it, or it will grip you like all other drugs do
I would suggest you talk to your doctor and your pharmacist about it they can give you the best and most up to date info on it . Remember just because a drug works one way on one person it may be totally different for you so talk to the professionals that know you and your medical history
