Adrenal fatigue

Has anyone ever experienced Adreanal fatigue, from med withdrawals ??  If so, how long did it last ?  Did you take anything to help, boost energy ??

My story:
I took Klonopin .5mg, one time a night for sleep, on/off for 8 months.  After I tapered and stopped, I went into withdrawals, my thyroid enlarged.  I stopped taking Klonopin April 07, I have been constently tired, and it continued to get worse, and worse, to the point now, I'm exhausted constently on a daily basis.  I'm still struggling, it's been 19 months.  All my thyroid blood test returns normal, for the past year.  I am not diabetic.  My blood test have been normal the past 2 years.  As for right now, the doctors have no idea, why my thyroid enlarged, but that's a different story, everything is pointing to Klonopin.

I have done extensive research on Adrenal fatigue, and learned that, when the Adrenals are not balanced, all types of health issues can arise, such as the thyroid condition I developed.

My system went into shock, after I stopped Klonopin, I ended up in the ER on Morphine, then a few weeks later, I was in the hospital for 5 day's, due to an overworking heart (long story), Klonopin related.

I am convinced I have adrenal fatigue, because I'm constently stressing out daily, hoping to return back to normal health, get my life back the way it was, before I started using Klonopin.  My stress levels are in overload 24-7,.

I never thought withdrawals, could take so long for me to recover & heal.  And doctors never did anything to help or support me, through forums I had to learn to taper on my own, and learn all I could about withdrawals.

So has anyone else ever had a similar experience ?  I cannot convince my doctor, that Klonopin is the cause of all my health issues, although I never had a medical record prior to Klonopin use.  He will not test my Adrenal function.

So please if anyone has experienced chronic fatigue, exhaustion, Adrenal fatigue, etc.... Through withdrawals.  I sure could use some support.
Thanks
