Ahhhh, relief

I went to see my doctor yesturday.  She was great about everything.  She gave me the RX for clonodine (sp?) and said it was fine for me to take even with low blood pressure, I just need to take smaller doses.  Anyways, I have been tapering (and it has been working well for me, I don't get "high" at all when I take it so i feel more and more normal everyday and it's just helping me, I'm so glad to be almost "back".  Anyways, I don't take my taper amount until the evening so I have been suffering with w/d's all week (I'm tapering pretty fast).  She said I could start the clonodine today and I did.  OMG, it is like night and day.  I'm not saying I'm not feeling normal or not having any of the other symptoms, but damn, I highly suggest anyone that is getting ready to stop to get some, that and I started the vitamins, aminos, potassium, etc. a few days ago and noticed I felt a bit better just doing that too.  I almost feel like just saying &%$* it and going c/t today, but I have 2 1/2 days of work next week and don't want day "4" to be Monday and screw myself.  Anyways, hope that may help someone on here and good luck to you all.

Thanks to all of you guys : ) I did actually have a headache yesturday, in the back of my head, didn't think it was the aminos, just thought it was some withdrawal "stuff".  I'm only taking a multi-tab amino, twice a day, maybe you are taking to much Ray?  Anyways, I definitely do not feel "great" or anything, but ya, the clonidine REALLY helps out.  4 more days and I'm done with the taper, whoo hoo.  Take care

I never like to say I told you so. But, I told you so :) Clonidine was a life saver for me. Make sure to monitor your BP and slow dosing if you ever feel dizzy or lightheaded.

Happy for you Zilll keep goign youll get there let me know if the Aminos gives you a headache or not since i starte dtakin htem i have a headache everyday might have to lower dosage or stop
