Almost passed out.

I'm on day 22 clean from a 2 year Vic addition.  Yesterday was strange, it was more like day 2 or 3 and I felt horrible.  I was standing up in the kitchen and all of a sudden I became very dizzy and light headed.  I waited for a second thinking it would pass but continued to get worse, it felt like all the blood ran out of my head so I got down on my knees (smaller fall) and waited.  The worst passed in 5 minutes but it took hours to feel better.  Has this happened to anyone?

I would not worry per say but it might be a good idea like R2R has said to get a blood pressure cuff  and keep an eye on it .The next time you are in seeing the doc I would mention it to them.

Avis/R2R- I normally have low BP to begin with.. If this only happens once in a while, should I be worried??

Avis i agree...That has happened to me a few times, I have one of those wrist blood pressure machines, and sure enough it was very low....I would get one, and check your blood pressure if this happens again....
hang in there!!

Hi.  I am 41 days off suboxone and this just happened to me in the shower yesterday morning.  But it was only about a minute and vision got skewed too.  Also I didnt feel any more worse afterward than I did beforehand and I felt pretty bad beforehand.. so Im not sure if its the same as you.  I know addiction comes with post accute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS) so its may be that.  But if you can think of any other health problems you could possibly have - high blood pressure, vertigo, etc maybe talk to your doctor.  Good luck.

Yes that has happened to me. It was always easy to remember to take my vics but taking the vitimans sometimes requires reminders. Like becoming light headed. For me the light headedness is caused by anemia ( I never could spell) I take all the B vitimans for my mental health and another liquid multi vitiman for the other needs. I also continue daily to take antioxidants.  Green Tea or whatever I have. Rose hips. etc. If I drink too much caffiene I sometimes feel that way too.

Congrats on day 22!!!!
