Am i going to die?

More than anything i am feeling mentally werid, i feel self conicous, can't make eye contact, real fidgity. Just not clear. It is my 4th day with no hydros, but i also take cymbotla 60mg every other day for depression but i have not had those either for 4 days now, i have to wait till friday when i husband get paid. but with cymbolta, i am scared, like i am going to die in my sleep. because my body is going through so much change? please advise

Forgot to ask, how long have you been on Cymbalta.... I quit cold turkey, and wished to god that I had tapered...  Demand the samples from him (your Doc)... He owes you that... tell him that you don't have $112 per month for a drug that screws you up, and you want off, so get 30mgs samples, and 15mg samples... that will really help!

OMG----ty ty......you know i don't know if it makes any since but i seemed to have went down hill since i started cymbolta!!! i picked up the hydro addiction after i was on cymbolta when i was taking lexapro i loved cocain, and did it for a year and a half and one day i quit, i never relapsed or anything, but really after cymbolta, my life has went to hell, i see dots all the time but i thought it was the hydros, my energy level in the past year has bottomed out. i Never use to be like this.....i think it is all from the cymbolta..really.

It is completely the cymbalta... it will pass, getting a little better each day.  I am in Day 3 of detox from hydro, and about 6 months ago, I stopped taking 60mgs daily, Cold Turkey... I wanted my libido back, I wanted to feel again.  I didn't have panic attacks (before cymbalta) though, but I did when I stopped that stuff.  If you can, tell your doc to ween you off, they have samples if it is expensive, and tell him you want to get on another anti-depressant or anti-aniexty... brain zaps, checker vision, and irritability all the symptoms of Cymbalta WD I experienced... I want to sue the maker of that drug, it should not be used at all.... the come off is terrrible!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish you luck, It will get easier each day, I promise!  Also, if you can, get some valerian root... (natural valium) but be sure to check about the interaction with anything else you may be taking....

Cymbalta is not good!  I took it for back pain and depression (they go together for me), and thought that it would be a good fit, but it did regulate my mind to some degree, but never got used to the brain zaps at all.

right,you are not going to die,and remember panic attacks are mostly thought-induced...i used to get them when i was stuck in traffic sometimes,you have to talk yourself down if you can..you are making sense- a lot of us have been there...im a tea pusher so maybe get some chamomile to relax before you have to go to work...

yeah i bet some of the symptoms are coming from you stopping the anti depressant .You are not going to die .As soon as you can get back on the ADs .When the anxiety gets bad try deep breathing while you count backwards from 100 it really does help.you can get threw this.

for over two years but i want back on lexapro it worked so much better and it was not so expensive. but what i am scared about is, am i going to be okay? i can get one pill tomarrow around 1pm but i have to work at my boses house, i am worried i will be acting really werid or not really that even, just the fact my hearts not going to stop is it? see i am frecking out!!!!!!!!!!  not making much sence am i?...lol

I have been on antidepressants before so I thought i would throw my two cents in here...I think the anxiety and mentally weird could be from both the things your missing but it's increased because you normally take the antidepressant daily and now your body is missing that as well. I know when I went off my rx for my ad I had 3 days of bad anxiety and crazy things going on in my head. Try to stay relaxed, breathe deeply, take a hot bath, anything to keep the anxiety level down till you can get your regular rx.

i THINK  cymbalta is an antidepressant that you shouldnt stop without tapering,this could be why you feel weird...i know i stopped my celexa and i was so edgy and out of sorts it really was bad....the celexa really helped with my wd symptoms,i think thats why i had it easier in my wds than other people...so im thinking that when you get back on you will feel less anxious,also if it doesnt work for you ( i went thru 3 kinds before i found the celexa)...how long have you been taking cymbalta?

i remember going throug a time when i was very anxious and could not look ppl in the eyes.  felt like they were looking right to my soul.  i am not sure if it is the hydros or the cymbalta giving you all the syptoms...google cymbalta and see what you can find...
