ok 10 day detox oxycontin...u guys!!!

THE PROCESS
alright...its my 6th day...im doing a rapid detox with the suboxone.i have 4 days left.im really excited because im finally going to know what its like to actually be clean.because suboxone is just a substitute for oxy...in the past 3 years ive never known wat it was like to be truly clean.

PAST DETOXING
my doctor would always put me on detox for up to 2 months and time would go by and id just quit because i hated the way i felt...but it was the suboxone, not me being clean. i dont fear being clean anymore...i just hope ill be out of the dark.

VITAMINS
i started taking omega 3's, a vitamin B complex, and mega man for women (its a performance multivitamin for active women)...my doctor told me these vitamins would help me...i got them at GNC.

DEPRESSED
last night i had a breakdown...i really wanted to use, i was stressed out and depressed.i felt so defeated...like life was nothing.my mind was just constantly telling me that i couldnt have a good life without it!...before i decided to go thru detox this time again, i wanted to go into treatment. but since my insurance didnt cover it...that was pretty much out of the question.

HELP ME!
I need the guidance tho...im ****** up psychologically from that drug and i need help on how to deal with depression and stress...and what to do in certain situations? anybody know what i should do? i know im bound to fail without that  knowledge.

Wow it sounds like you have really been thrugh alot, your lucky to still be here today. You must have a bigger purpose for your life or god would have taken you out along time ago.I myself was addicted to meth for ten years made it, sold , used it. It had a very strong hold on me , and I finally realized if I didnt do something soon I would be dead or end up in prison for life. Fist thing you have to do is really want to quit and find something you like to do that makes you happy, exercise is very good, and what also worked for me is going to church, you will find there are alot of people there going through the same situations, and will be there to help youget through yours ,it is very hard to do it alone. You need some kind of support , this forum is good but you need more if your going to get through this. My suggestion go to church and find some support groups in your area, you will find that it is easier to make it when you have others around you trying to accomplish the same thing good luck, PS  SOBER IS THE NEW HIGH!

Hello.. well it sure sounds as if you have thought this through.. The one thing I read missing in the post is the Can Do attitude... You have to get in the mind set you are going to war.. as far as thinking you need to use our you just can't take it.. Need to loose that thinking.. there is no going back our you die.. know what I mean.. You are fighting to get your life back.. get pissed... what worked for me dealing with the real time depression and stress.. was first attitude.. it is half the battle.. exercise.. walking and walking and more walking.. it helps also to speed up the wd process and get feel good endorphins surging....Fill your time as much as you can.. get out as much and soon as you can.. force yourself.. You can do this.. Living without our docs is so Damn worth the battle... Stay and reach out for support and I wish you a good fight... lesa
