I need your Help. I NEED some advice. Have not talked to anyone yet. I recently took. PREGNANCY test and it's positive. I've hit every thought and feeling. My biggest concern is, I smoked crack for two days this weekend. And about 2 weeks ago. I think I am about 2month s right now. My concern is having an unhealthy baby due to there stupid choices. Could you give me some advice. Please. What's the chances of having problems??

This is an old post so I'm not sure if she'll respond. Try sending her a PM instead. If you were honest with your doctor and quit taking the pills already - don't worry about anything! If you're clean for 3 months your daughter will not test positive for anything and neither will you. Opiates normally clear the system in 3 days so after 2 months you and the baby are both clean. You said you quit at your 32nd week of pregnancy - how long ago was that? There is a former social worker on the forum somewhere - I'll try to find her sn for you but I don't believe the cops can get involved if you've been honest with your physician and you quit taking the pills. Unless you start taking them again before your daughter is born I don't think you need to talk to your doc again.

Hi i hope that u are the nurse that i need to talk too... i have a question for you i stoped taking lortabs in my 32rd week of pregnancy.. i told my doc that i did take them for my migranes i was getting! I dont have a rx but i was honest with her...now im completly freaking out that they will take my daughter away from me! Will my baby turn out postive If im clean for 2 months? and since i let my doc know about it will cps get involved? Should i have another talk with my doctor? I feel like i want to just deliver her at home so nothing will happen... i wont do that of course but im on overload and cant tell u how scared iam. Please help me! Thanks
