Any help with methadone withdrawals stomach BAD

I cant lie about this stuff. No sugar coating here. Methadone is a monster to quit. How much were you doing? The bad news here is that the methadone can take months to get past. And researchers say they cannot differentiate between withdrawals from 30mg or 3 mg of methadone. Good news is that I usually give a worst case scenario, That way you can say it wasnt as bad as you thought. Look up sadinmichigan and access her homepage. She has a lot of good solid info that you can check out. You may also check out the health discussions pages at lower right hand side of page. Keep getting information. A year and a half huh? Where you doing a clinic? I do know what you mean. I quit about 80mg a day cold turkey. Its no fun but it can be done. I am really busy this second. Please PM me and let me know what your situation is...Hot showers will be your friend for a few weeks. So will immodium and emetrol. Find some good vitamins. And look at the amino acid protocols at low right hand side of page. All of these things will make a difference. Can tell you a little more as we learn about your situation.....eagle

I do, as I've been through it a few times and come out on top. It's no picnic but some valium and catepres and bentyl can help. This is what I was given in the hospital when they used to admitt you for a month to detox you in the 80's. Bentyl is a anti cramp, anti spasmatic. You can get over this with determination, faith and a little medicine.
