Anyone else having crazy dreams?
I am on day 19 and for the past week or so I have been having bizarre dreams every night all night long. Not nightmares just crazy, all over the place dreams. It's kind of exhausting. Is this a pretty normal occurrence? Or am I just finally losing my mind?
Mine was that I was driving a semi truck (which I DON"T DO! My bf does.) and going all over the country then I got to New York and it was all icy and crappy out. I was freaking out so bad that I just parked the truck in the middle of the turnpike and walked off! Then it went into some other dream where my cat was sick and all of a sudden we were in the ER and the cat had turned into a person. Very schizo!!
I think Stephen K. might actually HAVE directed that one!!! (Actually sounds crazy similar to one of his books "The Tommyknockers" - for real; you should check it out - madness for sure :). Hope the dreams start to mellow out for you soon!
I am finally down to one sneeze at a time! And now around 6-7 times a day.
Ok so briefly last night in this dream I was outside my old house looking at the sky that was real weird looking. Well these silver beams of light started shooting through the clouds very vivid and it was the entire sky. Someone next to me said it was a meteor shower but there was so many I was starting to get scared and then the sky just opened up and then (I have to brake off here if you have not seen the "eye of god nebula or "helix nebula" then you need to google this image, it's a real photo of a nebula in space that looks like a giant eye it is SUPER CRAZY!) so in my dream the sky just opens up and this giant azz EYE comes and splits the sky and it is so big it is everywhere and it felt like it was looking THROUGH me, like it knew all of any bad things I have ever done like it knew my entire life and I felt totally exposed outside in my yard under this eye! I was certian that it was the end of the world and this eye of god was just that and it was judgement day! And I am not really religious like THAT but I just knew that's what was happening. I remember telling people in my yard outside this is it this is the end of the world, I was so scared and freaked out. Then these tracks came down from the sky and these train like things were picking people up and taking them into the sky. I was on one of these and the being driving it told me don't worry about what you have done you are going to a better place. WTF! Really!!!!
And the worse part was because it was SO VIVID AND REAL. It was like someone said SUPER HD!
I woke up really weirded out.
Just thought I'd give you a glimpse into my madness!

You guys are too much..I just love the humor that comes with sobriety. I had a real crazy one last night too!! We could put the dreams together and write a book..Sometimes I even wake up and can not figure if it was real or just a dream..Ha!!!! Oh ya Back2Me the skin, hair, nails and the Light back in the Eyes..Wow all these years gone bye and now the light is on..But I might not be home!!!

Yeah I never dreamt either while using.That should tell us right there that this is not good. no rem sleep =no real sleep
Ha, well it's true, our color does return. And so does our sense of humor. And I read somewhere that the sleep we got on opiates wasn't real sleep at all. Guess that explains why we didn't dream back then.
Funny thing is I NEVER had dreams while on drugs. Never. Just like sneezing. I went 2 years without sneezing once. And zero dreams. And yeah I am always laughing now. All day. I think at work they must think someone took over my body cause they have never known the real me. I am cracking people up constantly now. They are like what happened to you! And why have you been tanning! (Not been tanning I just got my color back like crazy.
Yeah, when they (our 4 legged givers/receivers of unconditional love) start talking to the hubs & significant others we might be in trouble :)
Or worse, if my dog shared my day with my hubby when he gets home? Now THAT would require some explaining! hahah
OMG let's hope so; the things I've told my cats....they are just such great listeners. Geez if they ever got together & compared notes....lol (again)!
Mine too (well, I have a dog, but whatever, potato, potaHto.. lol!).. besides, who are they going to tell?!! I think our secret is safe with them.
I do the same thing! My bf and cats always look at me like I've lost my mind but I'm with you. Who the hell cares!
Me too. In fact, there are times when I remember something funny and I end up laughing, out loud mind you, all by myself out of nowhere. People might think that's strange, but honestly, who cares? :)
