Are these withdrawal syptoms?

Was in auto accident in 1999, fractured 4 vertabra, shattered pelvic region, severe brain injury, ya-di, ya-di,ya.  Fully recovered except back.  Had to quit running back in 2006.  Thru the years I have taken Lortab 10 mg. and Skelaxin 500 mg. off and on (about 3-4 times a year) when I have a "spell".  Eighteen days ago, had 4 Cadaver bones installed to replace my four that were messed up.  Steel rods, titanium screws, and cellulose to help my body not reject the cadaver bone.  Drink at least 3/4 a gallon of 2% milk per day.  Walk, walk, walk.  Taking a multi-vitamin, 1000 mg Vitamin C, 1200 mg Calcium + Vitamin D.  After taking Percocet from February thru my surgery in June, I knew I was "hooked".  Pissed me off when it dawned on me....so, I quit.  Cold turkey.  Have had nothing but Bayer aspirin in the last 6 days.  Pain is minimal.  Problem is this.....I'm only 37, but having night sweats like I'm about to go thru the "change"....have hot and cold spells throughout the day, have noticed a PROFOUND loss in my hearing, and I have gone from being a "tough old broad" who has coached all her life to a pansy who CRIES about EVERYTHIING.  What gives?  Hot flashes, loss of hearing, and highly emotional.....are these withdrawal syptoms of Percocet?

Thank you for your support and suggestions.  I'll hit the link you suggested, too.  I live a "perfect life"...you know....nice 2 story home, 1 child left at home, 1 in college (with my grandson), married to a man with a Master's and I teach/coach.  I have absolutely NOT ONE SOUL in my life that I could reveal these things to.  I guess the anonynomity of it makes me feel safe.  I will come back to get help and MAYBE even one of these days I could be a sounding board for someone else.  Thanks!

You can be the old you by August....check out the Thomas Recipe and the Amino Acid protocol - both are valid and will help immensely....look at lower right hand of page for link in health discussions.....and stick with posting questions or just support via this forum. There are so many others that are in the same shape - and many here that have gotten clean and wish to stay that way. Have any idea how long this is gonna' last?  Not that it matters.  I've already made up my mind about what I want to do and I will NOT fail.  Years ago, when I decided to stop smoking cigs (3 pks. a day) and drinking Coke (12 pk. a day).  I started having serious migraines....throwing up, couldn't stand, sit, or lay down without being in vivid pain.  Went to a neurologist and he did all these tests and said this, "If you will start smoking and drinking cokes again, you'll be fine.  Not to the extremes that you have in the past, just east out of it."  But, that never has been, nor ever will be, my personality.  I'm all or nothing.  Good sometimes.  Really ***** a lot of times, though.  I'm just hoping this all stops by mid August when I start back to school.  Because of the major back surgery, the Dr. won't release me to coach softball, basketball, OR track this year.  THANK GOD FOR ANTI-DEPRESSANTS or I'd be suicidal!  I just want to feel like the "old me"?

Thanks for putting my mind at ease.....if the hearing doesn't improve after using the indian ear candles a few times, I guess I'll break down and go to the doctor.  (Damn, I'm tired of seeing doctors!)

They could be withdrawals because of the timing I would bet that what it is .They could be Perimenopausal symptom's I have most of what you described but I am an ovary short LOL I am HOT all of the time.It drives me nuts .I hope yours temporary ......

the hot flashes and the emotions i went through during withdrawals.  i didnt have the hearing loss.  good news is if it is w/ds they should pass shortly if you are at days 6.  hope all is better in a few days.
