Asthma related to wds

Just got back from Dr & she warned me not to abruptly stop. She sais it could lead to asthma attack. Is this true or is she just misguided? I thought I was doing good & she was really mad @ me.

Been having trouble w/ coughing which is making my asthma worse but the air here is smoky & in unhealthy range. She s the 1 who wanted me to taper by 1/ day & have had to go slower then that due to wds signs.I think she just did'nt want me to stop abruptly.

I noticed when I tried to stop CT a few times it did compromise my breathing. Many people say they have a cough after quitting CT.  I did a taper when I finally quit and I had no problem with a cough or breathing.  (but I did with sneezing!..that has finally died down.)

I do not have asthma, but I do have asthma symptoms (from years of smoking.)

She was mad at you for tapering? I haven't heard of wds from hydrocodone cause your asthma to get worse....but I don't have asthma... Hopefully soemeone will come along that knows more.
