Hey.Im sure if u haven't been here@least many months u won't know me.I've been very busy,very happy.I'm Sry I haven't been around much2help but I will be now.A lil background4those who dnt know.I experimented w/recreational drugs from15+alcohol too(recreational I mean extacy,some acid b4that,drinking w/friends on the weekends while making straight A's).Anyway went through stages of trying some prescription pills.A little over2help+1/2yrs ago I came here@my wits end because I was prescribed tons of meds4yrs(since22maybe I'm now31)Got2much180-10mg lortabs(Dr wanted me on roxicodone30I said no which I later realized saved my life because I was selling my lortabs not taking them@the time)got xanax,soma,finoral etc didn't abuse those either.UNTIL I gave birth&was home2days later n tons of pain from a hospital that didn't give medicine4that.Had appointment n2days2get my meds from my reg dr2days.A"friend"came by w/these blue little pills I never saw b4&gave me some(I was crying n pain)he said crush it so ur out of pain quick I did and that was a disaster.W/n3months I was snorting5roxi30mg a day.SCARY.We moved2another state.As soon as I got there I was taken2my MIL Dr gave me ALL my meds.That's where I started severely abusing lortabs(quit taking12-15a day cold turkey)no info on easing w/d.Found this site a few days n.I'm glad I went through that hell w/o help though.Anyway if ur interested look back@my old posts if u want its crazy and interested.To those who remember me u know I quit the soma just because back then,been completely off fironal for a while now just because.Doing well. Finally moving Have2b with my family(mom,siblings,niece,nephews etc)with my husband and wonderful5yr old.Ill be happy2answer ANY questions btw.Hope ur all well

Very proud of you. When people disappear from the forum it USUALLY means they're chasing the dragon again. Not so with you. I'm so happy to read your post. You were an inspiration to me. Congrats.

I love seeing posts from people with YEARS clean time!  It gives me something to strive for.  I'm on 23 days off of opiates and subs and I'm definitely looking to get some time under my belt!  Congragulations you have a lot to be proud of!

Congrats on 980 days awesome. Its good to be free of the deamon drugs. You sure desserve to be happy wonderful achievment. i was addicted to heroin 4 14 yrs tried to stop countless times and relapsed countless timess. Now im 1141 days clean and im very happy. You did it my friend so you should be so happy its great to get up in the morning and cook breakfast other than looking for the pills That stop us living a normal life. That's just what I needed right now. I am on morning of day 12 and I can't sleep. I just want to cry! I am a busy mom and so far I've had a pretty easy time compared to some with the w/d. The dang RLS is not cool, but I've gotten great advice on how to deal with that. I actually didn't have it last night but I couldn't get my brain to shut off so it was after midnight before I drifted off. Then up at 5:30. Like stinkin clockwork. Thank you for giving me hope. And PLEASE tell me you are sleeping well?!?

Ty.yes Im back.Been really busy.Gonna be moving back2home next month.We saved enough for a downpayment on a home.So excited.Just got me a Toyota 4runner for an unbelievable deal cause my hobby is a mechanic&body guy(used2do it for a living).
