Beginning day 2-will need help staying on track

Lastnight wasn't as hard as its been previous times. I didn't go to work today. I don't feel like doing anything and have moderate chills and sweats, chills up and down my spine and alot of pain in my head, lower back and hips. Its a beautiful sunny day and I'm trying to focus on the positive things in my life..I do have alot. I'm afraid of my job bc of frequent access to pills. Can't change jobs so I need to figure out how to change my behavior or understand my need to take this even when I feel OK and don't want to. It's just a momentary lapse sometimes and I'm so disapointed in myself again.

Having access makes detox the hardest.  It's easy for us to tell people to flush them, but in your case it isn't possible.

Can you just say no and come here and tell us you said no?

Hi Corey,

I'm glad you decided to become part of the forum, Its a great place and you will have lost of support. I understand you being dissappointed in yourself but you can't focus on that. Just do what you're doing and start over.

You are going to try to find ways to change your behavior. Maybe a support group, like NA?

Good luck to you and keep posting. It really helps.
