Benzo withdrawal

I was just prescribed 30 x 1mg Xanax.

If I take 1mg x 3 per day, will I get withdrawal symptoms after 10 days? Thanks!

You are supposed to be taking one per day?  I am not sure if I understand the question. Are you wanting to triple up on what you should be taking?  I am an addict...I have taken it all.  Xanax is by far the worst drug to come off of.  Not to mention stopping Xanax cold turkey can be deadly.  The risk of seizure stopping it cold turkey is very high.  If I had to do it all over again I NEVER and I mean NEVER would have gotten near any benzo.

Nobody here is a doctor but if you are trying to get clean then plz take your pills as was prescribed by your docotor

I started taking xanax over 10 yrs ago - got addicted right away.  I agree with you.  Wish I'd never heard of a benzo.  Rehab nearly killed me really.  I was off it in 1 week. Be careful about detox.  It usually takes months.

Oh. I should say that I am advised to take it 3 times daily at 1MG each does.

I've done that so far, but I'm afraid that at the end of Day 10, I will be going through withdrawals.

ugh i may be screwed then!  I have another pos about vicodin, i quit cold turkey on sat.  I also take 2 ativan at night to sleep and have for the last year (i had beast cancer)  Since i quit the vic i upped the ativan to three.  There only .5mg or whatever,  am i going to have a problem getting of those too?  I only take them b4 bedtime!

I think you should be ok my only worry would be after a week you might have trouble sleeping a night or two .

There is a seizures risk but that's only for long term use so you are fine there
