It did not cause me any sleep problems or any problems functioning. Really, it's very mild. If anything, I don't think it did enough.
Of all that have tried Buspar....did it work okay? Could you sleep at night, and function during the day? Any other opinions? Thanks everyone!
Hi,
I took Buspar for about 3 months after my divorce and I honestly didn't notice any difference. But it works differently for different people. You might just have to try it and see.

It did seem to work, although it was not a real obvious help. I was also taking two anitdepressants and Ativan as needed, so I'm not sure which of the meds made the diffrerence. I don't think I had any side effects. Is this the only med your doctor prescribed or are you taking anitdepressants too? I currently use Celexa - an antidepressant which also helps with anxiety/panic disorder. This seems to be helping me, but it took about 2 months to be working at it's best.
How did it work for you? Suffer any side effects? Did it calm you? Please share any info...I haven't picked it up yet at the drug store, but wanted to find out about it first!
I used Buspar for about a year or so. I didn't find it to be addicting at all. I don't think you need to worry about that. Hope that helps!
I haven't been prescribed BuSpar, but it is used for short term relief of anxiety.
It is an anxiolytic. Hope that helps.
No, sorry I'm not familiar with that drug, but I'm sure someone will be on soon that will have a better answer.
