sweety, you will have to taper your dosage if you cannot go cold turkey..
this is very difficult for most, so if you cannot, you may have to entertain the thought of going cold turkey.
if you can, your best bet is to see a doctor to help you thru the withdrawal process. if you cannot do this, put the Thomas Receipt in the above search engine, and get those items listed to help you through the w/d.
and keep posting here through the process of quitting. you will find the support here very valuable in your journey toward getting clean.
good luck, my friend...

I think that you could taper down your dose, just like those here who use/used pills. An opiate is an opiate, dosen't matter the form your using. Since you said you use 7-10 tea spoons a day, try cutting down to 4 in the am, and 4 in the pm. Wait 4 or 5 days, then maybe cut down to 3 1/2 am & pm, wait another 4-5 days, and so on. Just slowly reduce your dosage. You will still most likely have some withdrawal symptoms, but they won't be as bad as going cold turkey (just stopping), but they will last through out the tapering. If you want to just 'get it over with', then you could go cold turkey. The worst of the physical withdrawal would be over in 4 days, to a week. Withdrawal, if you don't know already, usually consists of nausea, stomach cramps, diarhea, body & muscle aches, hot/cold sweats, sleeplessness, restless legs. There are meds that you can get from your doctor to make w/d easier. Plus, there's another user here that has a usefull tool called the 'Thomas Recipe'. Type this in the search box at the top of the page & you should find it. I hope this helps. Sorry for the infamiliarity with what you using, but since it's an opiate product, I think the plan for quitting would be more or less the same as for those using opiate pills. Hopefully, others here will have more to offer to you. Good luck & best wishes.
how can u abuse it? what do u do with it? im not going to try it i just dont understand how u can get addicted to a flower
as i mentioned earlier poppy husk is a opium product.from the same plant first we get opium then the rest hollow flower is poppy husk. its a small narcotic.in my country of origin the sale of pooy flowers is banned because of its use as a drug. it has great medicial powers and helped me a lot to cure my flu over times i used to have a very bad flu. but now i got addicted to it.its expensive too. i spend abpot $ 400/month on it.i just want to get rid of it that's why i am seeking help.plz help me and guide me how should i get out of it? its a humble request plz come forward to give me a helping hand.
Poppy husk is, of course, the husk (shell?) of the poppy flower. Poppy seed and dried poppy plants are available and legal for sale. Some are used extensively in dried floral arrangements. Just throw it in your search engine and you will be surprised.
I never heard of it either. I'm interested as well.
what exactly is poppy husknever heard of it?
i use 4 tea spoons every 12 hours. i managed to use only 3 spoons in 24 hours in the past. but on average basis i use 7-10 spoons a day.
At one point in time I was up to 300mgs of oxycontin a day. Now I don't exactly know how you use the poppy husk, I assume mix into liquid and drink, but my question is do you know the amount you are using on a daily basis?
