SUB Question.... help please

I am on Suboxone.... just started 3 days ago....

In a discussion with a fellow SUB taker friend.... I am curious what happens if I take a ROXY 30?

Can it hurt you? make you sick> or wrose?

.... or will the effects be minimal?

Hey - congrats on saying NO.  Everyone is right - you would not feel anything if you took the roxy.  Sub works by feeding an opiate into your opiate receptors to keep you out of withdrawal and at the same time it contains another ingredient which works to block any high you would feel off that opiate.  My sub doctors had me carry an emergency medical card re suboxone and what to do in an emergency as normal treatment with opiate containing pain meds will not work.  You can find lots of useful information concerning suboxone - the good, the bad and the ugly - on this site and on other sites.  Best of luck to you in your recovery!

Subxone is an opiate blocker - so by taking a roxy, he would NOT get high. If he has pain, it may help his pain on a very small level. If he was coming off of other opiates and took suboxone before he was in full wds, he'd get very sick. Go to google and search suboxone - you'll likely be shocked as to the info you can find!

well... as a new member of this "recovery" community....you (meaming I) am loking for any knowledge I can that will make me successfull and well.

even being above intelligent as I am (or like to think I am!) I know that this guy was porbably talking more **** than he knew.
I reall ythink that he was trying to get me to buy the remainder of his pills.... thats where the conversation actually went before I walked away from him... realizing he was not trying to "help" me!

just curious how this "chemical" works... I like to know what is going on inside me!
