HI I dont mean to be insulting, but are you sure you are not asking our permission to use medication that contains a narcotic pain ingregient.Obviously way back when you got some form of reaction that to this day, still triggers a response to use and reclaim that feeling.I believe that is the meaning of addiction. Be careful john
You are too young for most Doc's to even think about putting you on constant narcotics -won't happen........how strongly have you looked at alternatives? Try accu-pressure....next headache, place your hands on your head at the temple area and squeeze - - perhaps breathing exercises or meditation or a mix of all modes of treatment. You would be surprised to find the number of people that just opt for the narcotics in spite of the negatives involved. Try and use the most natural method that you can find that works for you......- .. give ibuprofen another chance - most of us here would laugh at the ibuprofen - but it does work after you get the other narc's out of your system......................good luck
I would discuss it with your dr there are many medications these days for headaches.
Good luck I hope you get them under control
You need to speak with your doctor about this. Avoid at all costs useing opiate based pain meds. Perhaps your doctor can suggest some other options. Good luck
