Can people addicted to diazepam read this plz

My husband still on the same rate to diazepam injection for almost 4 to 5 years (once every one week or 2 - it depends) why can't he take off it neither become addicted to higher &more frequent doses
he always takes it at night (does that mean any thing)
I feel soooooooo  sad, he never tells me he's going to take it and suddenly I get shocked seeing him drowsy &light headed & goes into deep sleep &I go into deep crying (specially he is not taking it every day)

He takes it via IM route & he is a doctor (obestitrision ) that's how he gets it besides we r in Egypt (getting meds isn't really a problem here)

Did you say he is injecting himself with diazapam? I do not think this is the prescribed route. IV Valium should only be taken while under the direct observation of a trained professional using monitors for vital signs. This is so dangerous! Michael Jackson comes to mind even though he used a different drug. He may have anxiety, sleep and/or addiction issues, but he should be taking oral meds as prescribed. No doctor would send you home to inject this drug. He needs help. He is walking a fine line.
