Sub withdrawl

Im on 87 hours with no subs, I went from 8mg per day to cold turkey a few days back and it has been pretty manageable until now, I was wondering if I would be okay to take a small dose just to get through work without being sick everywhere or should I just tough it out? This is by far the roughest day yet

Good morning.....this is kind of a trick bag b/c the way to get off subs is slow and steady. Jumping from 8mg to 0 is not slow and steady....i too w/d off of subs but from a much higher mg and it takes 3/4 days for full w/d to kick in for sure. Going back on small strips, like 1mg would be recommended if you can do that for like 2 months and then lower ti 1/2 mg for a few weeks as well. If u can do it...i would try to tough it out. There are things u can do to make it a bit more tolerable. Let us know what u decide...good luck to you, i know what your feeling!

I don't recommend people use opiates to address WDs.  In your case I'm going to suggest something unconventional from me.  I need to know more about how much sub you are prescribed and I don't want to contradict any doctor recommendations.

I think you need to go back on the subs.  You need to taper over more time and to much much lower levels before you stop.  Based on your dosage of 8mg and that it's only been a little over 3 days, I think the WDs are just starting, and they are going get worse and last a long time.  I know how it can be when you decide, "this is the time", but you need to have respect for this medicine.  I'm not in a position to post a detailed response right now but I will today, later.  I can't recommend an amount to take, but that 8 mg would last me 4 days.  Take care!
