I am just wondering is this forum like a twelve step or more of a place to talk to others about our addictions? Is it only for people who r clean? Or can I tell people what I'm going threw untill I get clean? Today was a good day for me, only 5 norcos and 2.5 somas!! Thats good for me cause I usually take up to 8 norcos and 6 somas. This is the first day I've tried to taper down. So far so good, but I'm I doing it too drastic too fast? Yesterday was the first day I was on this site. All of you were very supportive and I appreciate the kind words and advice. Thanks to all of u. Jenn

Check out some journals.....make sure your bodies vitamin level is replenished to avoid the most painful wd.

welcome.  we are not a 12 step program.  we are addicts in all different stages of recovery.  we here to help each other.  when one is down we all rally around to help them.  when a craving comes on we talk about it.  ppl aske questions about detox and we answer.  it is a great support group and i am so glad you found us.

if you plan to taper you really need to work out a taper schedule based on how much you take and how many pills you have left.  remember somas are benzo and you have to slowly taper off those due to the risk of seizure.

we are all in different stages of addiction. some tapering, some relapsing, some clean for yrs.  we are here to help each other get and stay clean, and i wanna say welcome to the forum. here you can get help to make it thru w/d's, tapering help, etc.
