i am on day one AGAIN. i have some clonidine as well, but my wd's havent kicked in just yet. Its seems you're probably through the worst of it. if physically you're feeling ok, i dont see the need to take it. How much were you taking and how were day 1 and 2???
I don't have personal experience w/ clonidine, but if you're on day 3 I would just keep doing what you're doing.....good job!!!
Congrats on the 3 days! You're over the worst (in my opinion). I would take the clonidine if you try for a hour or two and really can't get to sleep without it. Or you could take half. Dont be too hard on yourself, you are doing great!
If you start experiencing the 'high blood pressure' feeling, I would take it, but minimal dosage.. you're that far already, so I doubt you'd have to take it longer than a day or two..
I was on the Catapres patch (Clonidine) for the first two days and it worked wonders! :D.. took away all of my w/d symptoms!
I was on 10-15 7.5/325 hydros per day. Day 1 was rough, day 2 not great, today not great either, but tomorrow will start day 4. I'm just concerned about being in charge of 3 young children alone if it makes me really sleepy. My blood pressure was 122/84 at the Dr.'s office, so I am a little hesitant to lower it, but I will take it if it helps and doesn't cause any trouble. I only plan on a few days, tops. If at all. The cravings suck more than anything. Do they ever go away or will I feel like this forever?
I would say don't take it if you aren't that sick. I have detoxed several times with a combo of clonidine and benzos and it was pretty much a sleeping cure from dope or methadone. It works when done right but it's a balance and can be risky
I know what you mean. I am a little hesitant. I don't really have the luxury of sleeping a lot extra, so I'm not sure it's a good idea. I might take it before bed just to try it once, but I'm still not sure it's a good answer. I wake up tomorrow into day 4. If I feel like s***, maybe I'll try it, but til then, I don't think so after all I've read here and the research I've done.
yeah, I can relate some stories about falling asleep on clonidine and benzos..once on a conference call at work..once while sitting in my living room at my desk at the computer.

I already have Klonipin, and he told me to take that too. I told him I have to take care of kids and I can't sleep all day and night. The Klonipin takes the edge off a little. I take it minimally because I can't be a zombie. So I don't think adding Clonidine is a good idea. Tomorrow will be day 4, so I know the light is near anyway. It's just these damn cravings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When do they start to fall away?
