Cocaine

If someone is used to the drug and uses it daily as a pick me up for work or whatever how is it possible to tell if they are on it. I have a close friend who I suspect may still be using it. The thing is with him it's so hard to tell because he normally has a hyper personality. His nose is always running, and he does shady things like pulls the car into a McDonalds or other places to use the restroom. When we go to parties he will dissapear with a group of guys into a room for a while and close the door. When I ask what thats about he says "business" I personally have never tried coke so I really don't know how to tell.
Any help on the subject is appreciated, thanks.

everything you just described would suggest that he needs some quick privacy and if your snorting cocaine a lot your nose will run..........

May I ask why you would be so curious about someone and there habits are you following him?

He is the man I am dating and I worry about him because I know he used to use. Is that ok with you? I don't appreciate the smart *** comment really.

You just have to decide whether you are going to take your boyfriend "as is".  If you suspect that he is doing Coke, ASK him.  Honesty is always the best policy although not always the easiest.  I understand why you may have gotten angry about beachs comment, but your defensive posture exhibits that he does have a point. To that, quit "observing him" and talk with him.  There is usually a method to Beach's blunt madness and he does make some good points.

Follow your instinct on this one. If you are worried enough to question whether he's using or not, then he probably is.

Calm Down. You have good advice, but you get defensive quite quickly.

You know yourself that these are newcomers, this one in particular did not state that she was using. She came here for help. Sometimes we have to be a little more sensitive.  Notice she did not come back?

I know you mean well, and like I said, you do give good advice.

Maybe we could all be a bit more sensitive. After all, we were all newcomers once. And I don't mean to the forum, I mean to addiction/Drugs.
