Getting off opiates using subs without withdrawals????

I take anywhere from 45-90mg roxie a day. When I decided to quit, I took:

day 1: 15mg Roxie, 8 am;    1.33 mg suboxone, 5 pm; took chills away. Started getting chills again, and RLS, took 1.33 mg. Suboxone at 1 am.

Day 2: was fine until 3:00pm.  Started getting chills. Took 1.33 mg suboxone.

Day 3: (today) took nothing yet and I'm fine. It's 1:00pm.

So I know it's hard to say, but given the doses, do you think I could jump off the subs Scott free? How long do I need to take to keep Wd's away.
Will this work??????

I've read about short term use. I really don't want to switch to another drug. I want to be free of drugs. From someone with experience, is a week or two on a very very low does of sub going to get me through the worst of the withdrawals, or will it just postpone them?

Well the sub is just replacing the the Roxie right now so you brain isn't healing itself.  You probably wouldn't go through sub WD but still have the Roxie WD, it may be milder but you still gonna WD when u stop taking either the sub or Roxie.  Like IBKleen said either get with a dr or set up a longer taper plan for the sub.

Oops. Sorry. Not sure how to edit, but if you tell me I'll change it. To the first poster, I'm only taking a tiny amount of suboxone. 1/6 of a full one.

Hi & Welcome,

It is a violation of our guidelines to give out dosing instructions for any drug and that includes Suboxone. Sorry about that.

Suboxone is not just a magic pill that will take away withdrawal symptoms. If it were none of us would be sitting here. Trust me on that one. Suboxone is a complete program and should be followed under a doctor's care. It can be a useful tool if used properly. You can find a prescribing doctor in your area - please consider doing the complete program.

Best of luck to you!
