I am crying a bit here! I feel so much better this time than in Sept. when I started this journey. I guess it is a journey to life and I hope to continue to embrace it as I stay clean. That is all I wish for all of you.

I have a BIG A** smile on my face right now! Yoga has been a HUGE part of my recovery. I am thrilled you are giving it a shot as I've seen it transform so many lives. My heart is glad right now reading your words of hope and resilience...I'm so proud of you. Keep taking steps on this brave new path, your heart's desires will be realized.

Wow!!!!! That's what life is supposed to be about. You don't take your stuff with you when you die; you take what you did, where you went, who you loved...and in your case, learning how to impersonate a pretzel.
everyone is horrible at yoga on their first trip. i love it when i can go. you'll be amazed at the flexibility you'll gain in a couple weeks.
Happily, my daughter is my teacher and she knows about my back issues. We are taking it really slow. We worked on breathing today and some simple chair and mat stuff. I was able to do more than I thought. My upper body strength s u c k s and my poor skinny wrists hate it, but I think it is gonna be OK. We are doing private for now and when I can I will join her classes as I feel I can! Thanks, for all the great support! I am smiling right now and that is a wonderful thing.
Glad youre doing yoga litl I need to get back to it I kinda stopped about a week ago lol staying mellow and not having to worry about life-that sounds alot like being high to me lol
Well littlebit, I think we have come full circle here. Sort of. When you first started posting here, you were concerned about doing yoga because of your back. And I answered you, telling you how much I loved yoga and what a great experience it is. BUT, If you have a back issue, you may want to go slow, or start with some other form of exercise, as certain types of yoga can be hard on the back. And for that, you gave me a best answer - I believe your family had been pressuring you a bit about exercising, and when I brought up the back issue, and going slow, and I'm quoting you here, you wrote "Bless you".
I think it'll be awesome for you..
Sandy :)
How amazingly awesome!!!! Yoga is wonderful for mind body & spirit. I took classes forever but now I just do it in my livingroom when the kids are in school on my off days... that's fantastic littlebit!! Very glad to hear youre ready to grab life =)
