30 days Clean and feeling pretty good

Hey all I just wanted to say I am 30 days clean today from Oxys and Perks.  I was on them for 3 years just for the fun of it and it was costing so much money because myself and my husband had both been taking the pills.  I have to admit for the people out there that are just thinking of quitting please follow the Thomas Recipie and drink alot of fluids. My husband and myself quit cold turkey and I think because of the mindset we both were in we didn't have any major withdrawl symptoms which I thougth for sure we would be really ill for at least 3 to 5 days because in the past when we didn't have any pils we were sick like crazy until we got a pill in our system.  The only thing I am running into right now is the lack of energy.   Anyone have any ideas or advise on what to do for energy?

low energy is part of the game...since you have a partner try soemthing light ,,like WII or brisk walk before bed, it wil help get you back in order, in other words move..absolutley dont sit on the couch,,,bad thoughts creep in when you do that...hike, bike, yoga...anything,,you will see improvement

Congratulations on 30 days!!!!  I was wasting alot of money on pills too and it is really motivating to calculate all the money I have already saved.  Keep moving forward, you sound like you got this! Oh, I think I just saw this reposted on the forum, but i use those 5-hour energy shots and they work really well for me. I'm not as far along as you, but others have said that our natural energy comes back within 30-45 days.  I am sure someone with more time will be able to give you a better anwser though.

b12 sublingual tablets work great for energy.  Congratulations on hitting the 30 day mark.  Keep going (and find some form of aftercare if you haven't already).  :)
