No personal experience with Kratom but I have read it can have it's own issues with addiction.  Just be careful.

hey, on day 2 myself right now.  I've been a bad boy.  at one point, i didnt even realize it til the end of the day, i had takin 18 30mg Roxy A's...  I was able to do this because of something i heard a stockbroker say once, "buy low and sell high".  They weren't costing me anything so i didnt care.  Lost my connection though, so after one month lost all my money.  Thankfully, I have subs and have had them for a while, just never used them.  They never worked for me before like they are workign now, maybe cause i never really wanted to quit before, i don't know.  Suboxone and Kratom is awesome.  U can get Kratom online in pill, powder, or tincture form.  making tea with it is great, i definitly recomend it.  I want a f*ckin roxy so bad right now i could stab an infant in the eye with a unsharpened pencil.  i'm not going to do either though, so no one worry. thanks peace

I kept telling myself...YOU HAVE the FLU!  It will be over and I will feel so much better.  My brain seemed to get that and settled down a little.  It is hard, but doable!  The Thomas Recipe (bottom of the page) under Health Pages will help.  I did not to the tranquilizers and had to cut back on the Ltryosine, but the rest really helped.  Imodium, Imodium, Imodium (liquid or pills if the liquid can't be found or you can't swallow it) will help.  I took double the dosage for a few days (personal choice) and it helped so much..even with the withdrawals in general and the opiate trots which sucked.

Hydrate and eat! ((gatorade is good) Even if it is just a little every hour or so.(boost or ensure might work for both food and drink)  You have to eat something to keep your energy up as much as possible.

If you have Restless legs..it is hit or miss what works.  Walking seemed to help me some.  Hot bath with epsom salts..a little.  I finally had to get my doctor to refill my restless legs meds (non addictive) to get some sleep.  If nothing works, your doctor might help.  Benedryl or OTC Alteril helps some with sleep issues and you will have them.

One hour at a time is all anyone can ask.  After 2 weeks it gets a little better and I started to say, One day at a time!  Your brain will do all sorts of things to get you to take a pill.  I found if I was hungry..the cravings got worse.  I would try to eat a banana, a few grapes or a few crackers to get that under control.

The hardest part comes after the detox.  Your brain will be all over the place and will try to get you back on the pills...It is having to work and not depend on the pills to help.

Good for you.  I hope all goes well.  You have made a good start coming here....this site has helped me so much!!!  Keep posting!!!!!

Hi, just wanted to offer encouragement and support. I won't sugar coat it, yet there is hope. Just a couple more days and you should be through the worst of the physical withdrawal. It stinks, as I very well know. You can make it, though. Drink herbal teas, for morning I like Celestial Seasons Morning Zinger with honey and lemon added. In the evening, try Sleepytime. For aches and pains, TheraFlu daytime during the day and nighttime in the evening with lemon and honey added helped me with the aches and pains. Take a good multivitamin and B Complex along with calcium, magnesium, and zinc supplement. You're almost out of the woods. As soon as possible, get outside and into the sunshine, even if it is just to sit there. Move around as you can, like doing small household chores. For example, I would soak the dishes, then start a load of laundry and rest. Then, I would put that load of laundry into the dryer and wash a few dishes. Stop and rest. It might seem slow going, yet by the end of the day you will have gotten a load of dishes and a couple of loads of laundry done.
We're here for you. Oh, and hot baths with Epsom salts, or even hot showers helped me. Also watch funny shows, movies, or comedians. I realize it is hard to concentrate, yet you will find yourself involved in whatever you're watching and find yourself laughing and momentarily forgetting your misery.

I hope at least some of this helps,

Best wishes,

Minn

Oh I know.  I have been going through it too the last few days.  You just can't get comfortable.  You can hardly wait to get into bed but then once you do you can't stay still.  I hear walking is really good.  I haven't tried it yet lol.
I may go for a walk once it gets dark and see if that helps.  I don't want anyone looking at me.
Please keep posting and asking questions if you have any. Everyone here is happy to help and answer.

Is there any way that you could get someone to get some imodium for you?  It really helps.  I didn't have any when I tried the first time. Tell them you have the flu.

Hi and welcome.  It's hard to say because everyone is different..  Most people find that they start feeling better on day 4.  Day 3 is usually the hardest.  You probably have been withdrawing since you started to cut back. Do you have any of the supplies that are listed in the Thomas Recipe?  If you scroll down to the bottom right of the page you should see it under Most Viewed Health Pages.  You should definitely have imodium and try and get some B vitamins.  Drink lots of fluids.  I am drinking gatorade and powerade constantly.  Others will come along and give you more advice but hang in there and keep posting.  Everyone is wonderful on this forum and happy to give you advice.
