kendraerika update

Hey y'all, just thought I would update since I have not been on much, posting anyways.  I had a migraine off and on, mostly on for 8 days. On day 5 I went it to er due to cramping during work, and was afraid I caused it by taking ibuprophen bc I was out of tylenol. Dr was angry that I did not come in sooner, and gave me tylenol AND a shot. That was fun...  not. I puked for three days, had the flu too, AND I still had a migraine. I went back to Dr and got some anti nausea pills, compozine, and finally it went away. I am staying strong, and baby is doing good. I have a prenatal checkup tomorrow, and I'm pumped that my husband will be able to go.
I do have cravings, just yesterday. Friday I got into a nesting mode and overdid it with moving furniture and cleaning, then working on my feet Saturday, I was in soooo much pain. I got through, my husband is a great support. I'm almost 16 weeks and feeling baby move, and there is no way I could take a pill right now. It really hit me when I felt the bumps that I am carrying a baby and I want my child to have a chance! Thank you to everyone that has been there, and paleflower who messages me hoping I am OK when I don't post, makes me feel good knowing people care! My energy level has come back, it will be 2 months on Jan 4. I still have low energy  the day after I do something, but that's the pregnancy.  Good luck all. Sorry I'm all over the place... this is hard to do on phone, and editing is almost impossible.

I think you should ask your doc about it-because it's safe during pregnancy and even if you already have the migraine it totally works....Best wishes...Lu

Lulu, I have not tried that, but I usually wake up with a migraine, so I don't know they are coming.

I didn't want to say the sex, so I'm glad you came on before anyone asked me. I'm so jealous you know already, but so excited!  You are doing amazing, and it's because of YOUR hard work! You don't credit yourself enough!!!!

Hey Kendra- congratulations on the new life growing inside of you.  I suffer from hormone induced migraines as well (amongst other things) and was in the ER twice last month-I changed birth control pill and my migraine went on for a month.  The doctor I saw the second time had a wife who suffered migraines and he gave me a scrip for Migranal which is a nasal spray that you use when you feel the migraine coming on.  It was the only thing that helped me.  Don't know if you tried it-hope you continue to do well and baby too...(:
