Day 8! But somethings not right....HELP PLEASE!

Hi I am on day 8 of being clean today. But a couple times through out the last few days I start getting extremly cold with chills, and my energy level what i have completly goes to zero. after i get done with the cold which takes forever to get warm i still feel really low on energy.

Last night i took my temp when it happened and it was 102.6....then went away. i know ive had a little cold with detox but nothing major. now that its doing it i took my temp and it is 99.5.....

AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE? if it wasnt for this id be ready to go i think!

HI all of the symptom your describing are not uncommon for withdrawals your still in the early stages of it it may take a wile b/4 you get over everything
the chills are tuff but eventually they will go away as for the lack of energy scrool down to the bottom of the page and look up the amino acid protcl it will give you some stuff that will help if money is tight go to walmart and pick up a can of whey protein mix it has the amino acids as well as extra vitamins and the protein your brain is going to need for recovery I recamend it to evey one who detoxes the chocolate flavor is good you just mix it with a glass of milk drin2 a day till you come around then 1 a day for the following yr
I wish you all the best in your recover have you goten any aftercare in plase yeT?? if not do so it will help you with the mental battle good luck and God bless....Gnarly

I'm still cold too, my energy is a little better today but not near where it should be.  So I think it's normal or maybe you caught a flu/cold bug?  Just the luck!!   I hope you start feeling better over the weekend and you're able to go to work next week.  It will help keep your mind of of things.  Good luck keep us updated!! :-)

I'm on day 10, still getting cold, but not sure if it's because I'm sick with a head cold or still some lingering w/d. I haven't gotten all my energy back, but I am having more clear thoughts and have more keen senses. Best of Luck on heading back to work, it'll be good to help your mind get on something different. Watch out for triggers!

stacey, i think that is very common for withdrawals.. i was cold and running a temp until after 14 days. in fact, the last 9 months i was abusing my tempt ran about 99.9-100.9 sometimes even up to 102.0 depending on the day, which my doctors all thought was very unusual.. my temp didn't go back down to 98.7 until the middle of my 3rd week clean. also i was very sweaty, so i was cold and sweating all the time.. good news, it goes away!! congrats on your clean time!! i'm at 6 weeks today. :)

I think its part of the withdrawal,,my temp was elevated the other day as well. The energy part is definately withdrawal and can last for several weeks to a month so Im told. I have to push myself to do anything!
