Did I ruin my timeline?

I tried to quit cold turkey again Friday night and by 24 hours I was so sick.  I found a few pills I thought I had gotten rid of and took some and told myself I would just not take anymore.  12 hours later I took another two.  I felt so bad.  That was yesterday at 11 am. the amount I took was far less then I normally do, but.. does it totally mess up the 5 day withdrawal timeline?  Do I add another 5 days from the moment I took the last pill?
I felt do bad I gave them to my husband and he flushed them.  I just feel like I failed.

If you just started out, there will be more to come, but it is nothing that you can't handle.   Hang in there and don't look back.    Good luck to you!

ok.. so I woke up this morning and the restlessness is gone. Well, since Ive been up for the last hour.
And I am for sure never taking these meds again.  I cannot go through that. It was hell for me.  But Im still worried that there are more to come.
I guess I will see.

This part is tough but you will get thru it.  Our bodies need time to heal from all the abuse it took so try and be patient with yourself.  Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and get up and move around as much as you can.  That will help to get your natural endorphins working again.  Have you thought about any aftercare?

Id load up on all the amino acids and vitamins, food, water, that you can now, like yesterday. To be truthful because you took a dose in there, from my experience, you got a ways to go still and its not peaked yet.  Not trying to scare u, but I think it helps to one prepare for the worst and two to not think its gonna go away in 72 hrs.  Ive read reports from people who were good after 72 hrs. And I laugh because that wasnt withdrawals that was a little bump, ya know what I mean? 5 to 10 days, real rough, then a little improvement, thats my guess, I could be wrong. Hoping for the best for you as Im with ya on day 8 from subs myself, sweating and chilling like crazy....U Can Do It!

I was on 120mg of oxy a day and 15 vics a day.  thats when I stopped cold turkey.  the first 24 hours were hell.  I took 4 vics the next day then 2 24 hours later and that was 11am yesterday.  Ive had the runs.  The leg and back restlessness and fatigue is killing me.  I've heard day 3 is the worst, but.. what will day 3 be for me? tomorow or Tuesday.  I just dont know.
should I try taking the L-tyrosine tomorow?

Since you were only 24 hours into it to begin with it's probably not going to make that much difference. If it was less than you're used to doing normally about all it amounts to is you did a little taper over a couple days to lower your dose a tab before you jumped.

If you keep that routine up though you'll never get clean. At some point you're going to have to face the music.

not sure what your taking. but im on day 10 of a 70-100mg/day oxy wd.
oxy is one of the fasting acting opioids so 24 hours in for me was PURE hell. only lasted till early sometime on day 3.

you just gotta do it. all there is to it. *****, but you CAN do it. just try to get you some valiume or klonopin (i had neither) and immodium to help you relax.

failure is not defeat. defeat is accepting failure as the final outcome.

just get up and do it again.

I guess I'm not sure what timeline you think you messed up? You only made it to 24 hours! I would think you would be starting over from the last time you took a pill! For me the withdrawals were the worst on days 3-5 so at 24 hours I was still feeling ok! You must make sure that you have eliminated all your access to the pills if you want to succeed, as you have discovered, if you have them, you will take them!

Take care, and I wish you all the best!
