Doctor visit

Hi all.Jsut an update that I went to the doctor today and he put me on suboxone.I still feel like crap-REALLY tired, sweaty, and have the chills.I thought suboxone was supposed to help ease that?I took 1/2 tablet as directed by my doctor. He then told me to wait aboput 0-40 min. and if not feeling relief to take the other 1/2.WellI'm not sure if I'm supposed to feel the way I am ot if the suboxone isn't waoking or what.So frustrating-just want to feel better but mentally I do as the doctor helped a lot with the mental part of withdrawl.

Just wanted to update everyone. Thanks again!

I also felt great after I got to my correct dose, which was four of the 2mg subs. And I even started to slightly better after two 2mg subs. I think either your original DOC was still in your system(maybe you not knowing) or you did not get a gig enough dose. Most sub doctors make you wait there till you feel better so they know for sure what dose you should have. I would call your dr tonight ans tell him whats going on. You went to get help and deserve results. Good luck, keep posting

One sub should work well.  However, you are supposed to be in withdrawal when you take the sub - at least 24 hours since your last regular opiate and if transitioning from methadone, then it is supposed to be about 48 hours.  Definitely keep in touch with your doc.  I felt great after one or two subs in about 20 minutes on my induction - I think it was two.  But it worked immediately.Did you dissolve them under your tongue?  if you took like a regular pill - that will not work.

Yes.....call your doctor.  That is what he is there for!  Suboxone should technically take away all the WD symptoms.  You should not feel that way at all!

Call your doctor and talk with him/her. You should not be feeling like you are. You may need to have the dose adjusted either up or down but you will need your doctor's advise for that. Please don't do anything on your own.

Let us know how you are.
