@ cleanmom:
I didn't tell my doc about it, I simply said I had alcohol that night. I'm feeling a bit better today, and in less of a daze. I think I will see if I continue to feel better, and judge from there. The only thing that seems to be continuously bothersome is when I work out, I feel very winded and light-headed. I think if those symptoms still persist next week, I will go back and tell my doc about it. Does that sound like a good plan? Thanks for your help! Also, I definitely won't be taking subs again, don't worry! lol. It was not the most pleasant of experiences, that's for sure.
@OIFMc09:
Yeah, I admit that was one of the most stupid things I've done in quite some time lol. Like I mentioned to cleanmom above, I feel better today, except the main thing is I feel very tired/light-headed/winded when I workout, so that's my main concern. I just hope my blood pressure hasn't been affected for the long term, cause my heart rate seems higher than usual at times -- could just be a mental thing though, haha. Anyway, thanks a bunch for your help and for the info, and I'll remember to take care of my friend next time he's drunk and looking to get "f**ked up" lol..
That was REALLY dangerous man. Suboxone is not like a normal opiate. It's not one of those things where you can have a couple brews and pop a pill like percocet or vicodin - which I wouldn't recommend either - and party it up. Some people puke on sub. without the booze involved, taking a lot less than you did. You hurt your body, it's that simple. No dependency though, your body is just telling you that you really screwed up. If you really can't function after a couple of days of taking it you may want to consider a doctors visit. Anyway, not a cool friend, you should definitely punch him in the face when you feel better :) And stop popping pills, especially when you're drinking...not a good mix.
That is a lot of sub. When you went to the doctors, did you tell him about this? If not that would be the best thing to do, he will know how to help. Good luck and don't do something so silly again, especially with the alcohol! ----Jacky
That is alot of sub. Don't play with it or you may not be with us for long. Karl
