Fiance from Australia taking suboxone

My fiance is from Australia, he will soon be taking Suboxone. And he will also be coming to the united states for six weeks. Will there be a doctor who wil be able to prescribe him some Suboxone while he's here? Would it help even more, if he were to bring a not from his doctor in Australia?I really need help with this, so please if you can answer this question for me, i would be so greatful!

His dr should be able to help him find places to go for it if he needs it in the states. (Although why doesn't he just get it filled and bring it?)

If he takes any through customs, because it's a controlled substance he should have a note from his dr about the prescription. It's just a precaution, but customs can be a pain to get through and they do look at your prescriptions closely.

I think the best thing to do would be for your fiance to talk to his current Dr. now while he's still in Australia prior to coming to the states and perhaps the Dr. can refer him to a place here where he can be treated, temporarily, before returning to Australia.
