I came on here today just for this information about the age factor and it was if it was just for me! I am 73, been dealing with pain and the Vicodin for 5 years. Have always kept it below prescribe amount but knee replacement a year ago got the amount up. I am on day 6 and the fatigue is so bad! This gives me hope!

That is the key is to finally surrender and give it to Heavenly Father, He loves us and knows us by name...I have named the pills, the devil pills because that is what they are...Only the devil would want you to take these...Amazing how I am managing my pain with no drugs whatsoever....Eating well, juicing and exercise and stretching...Just amazing and to think that I needed drugs for that...Hugs and have a great day

Ha!! I know, I know it takes time!!! You got that right and I DO Thank it is harder when WE get older.  Cold Turkey from 3 drug at my age was NO picnic!!
I went into this post because I had a BAD Day. I wanted to get some relief..You know I got in my Truck and went up the road and talked with people about the Lord. We prayed and ALL. I did not give my God enough Faith today. I did not pray in the morning. This is something I do ALWAYS! SO The bad guy try to get me when I did let that Guard down..Be safe!!!
I am so glad that YOU Payed today and got a answer as well..Ya!!!!

Hi Denise,
Congratulations on day 11! Just give the physical recovery some time. Get through the detox and get your energy back first. I might have suggested to you before, but after that, if you have a community pool, or someplace to walk and swim , that water is your ticket to getting back in shape. Take advantage of the summer months! I have only one year in age on you. I'm here to tell you that detoxing isn't as easy to physically recover from at our age and it takes a little extra time and effort to accomplish. But it IS completely doable. Keep on keeping on!
