Suboxone for 5 years

"I was put on suboxone 5 years ago for opiate withdrawal.  I took 1  8mg 2x daily for 5 years.  I am on day 11 and am wondering if my symptoms are ever going to go away?  Seems like the creepy crawlers are getting worse.  Is  possible that permeate damage is done and this is not going away?  I keep thinking if i could have 1 vic a day to make it tolerable.  I would be able to kick that habit easier than this.

I don't know a lot about sub since I have never been on it, but wanted to bump this back up for you and someone will respond soon. Did you do a slow taper coming of the subs? You will feel better, but sub does take longer to w/d from.

I don't think it is a good idea at all to take a vic, one leads to 2 and 2 leads to 10. Hang in there, you will get some advice soon and congrats on those 11 days.
