Future Effects of Ecstacy?

Im a 19 year old guy who got dragged to a rave about a month ago in which my friends surprised me with a tab of ecstacy. I had never drank, burned, nor rolled before that day but since then I have rolled twice with the last time being a couple days ago. Ive felt kind of anxious the past couple days, probably because I used a whole tab this time instead of half, but was wondering what the outcomes of the next couple moths or years would be in result of me doing this or even rolling several more times in the upcoming months. Its fun and all but if there are drastic effects to my future I will most likely stop it all together. I have a friend who does coke and rolls but she's completely insane when it comes to partying but normal at work like anyone else.
Just wondering while I try to sleep :|

Seretonin Syndrom - Excessive levels of serotonin produce a spectrum of specific symptoms including cognitive, autonomic, and somatic effects. Symptoms may range from barely perceptible to fatal.[1] Numerous drugs and drug combinations have been reported to produce serotonin syndrome, though the exact mechanism is not well understood in many instances.

That anxiety you feel, is one of the barely noticeable symptoms. Be careful with street drugs. Even knowing the chemist and getting the "good stuff," there are varied side effects that occur with any amphetamine use. Adrenal burnout is another one, E simply wrecks our whole mind and body chemistry.

I understand, because I remember doing LSD for the first time at 14, I thought I found my key to fun. Almost 30 years later, I finally realized I missed out on a lot of natural highs, which are actually better than any drug. Think about all this, does it seem worth the health risks, addiction risk, and legal risk to boot? That's a lot of risk for a few fun times.

Not sedation in syndrome, "serotonin syndrome" - the inability to feel pleasure without drugs.

I have only used pure MDMA and MDA, sedation in syndrome and anxiety are a normal after effect. Just like if you felt excited, euphoric and sexy all night without drugs, one would be exhausted and drained. The above posts are correct about not knowing what you are getting. Thing is, even those I have known to roll with pure Molly end up having all the same side effects as methamphetamine addicts. The MA in MDMA is MethAmphetamine, I'm not sure why ravers and the FDA call it a hallucinogen, chemically it's speed. Most halkucenogins, like mushrooms, LSD, Iowaska, do so little damage to the body it is difficult to even tell which part of the brain and body they interact with. X is toxic in comparison, it destroys the brain and bone marrow. If you are asking if there could be long term effects of brain/nervious system damage and reduced bone marrow, the answer is YES.

Honestly, I wouldn't say this about many drugs, but that one is quite dangerous. I know it is cheesy, but Ecstasy can really fry your brain. Quite literally, it will fry your brain. The reason it is so bad is because it is a mix of several chemicals that give you that euphoric feeling. Like the poster above said, people are mixing crazy things like drain cleaner in there. I mean, it is yucky stuff. If someone mixes a tiny bit of the wrong thing, you will be toast.

It sounds like you are not committed to stopping, to be honest. You are still thinking about rolling in the future. Yes, LuLu, rolling means dropping x. I cannot stress to you enough how much danger you are putting yourself in by continuing down this path. You will start to feel more anxious and possibly experience sleeping issues and so on if you do not stop.

Hey Man-

I'm sorry I'm not up on the lingo.  I've done E in the past about a decade ago.  Does 'rolled' mean dropped E?  The thing is, E can be all kinds of different crap these days, super duper dangerous and far from the pure MDMA that I did back in the day.  Yes, harsh anxiety is one of the side effects.  But side effects can also be seratonin sickness, seizures, and many, many times death.  You don't know what's in it.  The pure stuff is far too expensive and hard for people to get their hands on.  It is used in controlled situations for therapeutic reasons such as treating PTSD in soldiers and survivors of abuse.  You have no idea what you are putting in your body and it is like playing russian roullette with your life.  Please don't go down this path.  I know it's hard when you are your age- everyone parties etc etc.  I've had far too many people die in my life from combos of coke and E.  A guy I dated briefly died of a heart attack at 28 from that deadly combo.  Please just don't do it.
I know people who are permanently depressed from doing E on a regular basis.  It completely depleted their seratonin levels and they are no longer able to create it on their own, meaning they must take anti-depressant meds for the rest of their lives.  It's not worth the risk.  Trust me.
Drink lots of water and eat foods high in protein and vitamin C.  Get some good exercise and nutrition and stay away from all chemicals and drugs and alcohol for awhile.  If your anxiety persists, go see a doctor and tell them about what you've done.  I really hope you are okay and don't take this gamble again.  Keep posting.
