starting day 7

well for the 1st time sense i quit i don't know if i can make it. I KNOW I CAN!!!!! i feel great today. it's friday and i'm not looking down at the botton of a pill bottle counting how many days worth i got left. i remember looking in the bottle and if i could see the brown of the bottom of the bottle i knew it was time to go looking for more, i used to hate that. tnks to God, my wife & medhelp friends. i think thats going to(wait I KNOW THATS GOING TO BE BEHIND ME. lol. to the rest of you good people out there trying to quit, it is very doable and very much worth it. i will never let nothing have that much control over me (tnks for that quote Garth) the sleep is getting better but not great by far. sleeping about 4 to 6 hours now. yesterday wasn't a great day for me it rained and when it rains old aurther in my knees seen to show off a little. but i put him in his place by cutting off my legs lol. well just though i would do a update and let everyone starting out this flew can be beat. good luck to all my medfriends out there. just think how great it will be on the other side.

omg i am so laughing so damn hard right now.. that is so aweesome..  keep up the good work you will make it..  you are like a breath of fresh air see things a little differently then others..   that's how i know you will make it through..

  i ask my wife when i started to quit did she think i could do this. she told me that she would be proud of me either way if i would only try. she told me she would be there at the ends either way. i asked her again do you think i can do this. she said we won't know if you don't try.i was getting mad at her and said what do you think can i quit or not,she replied " honey you should be able to quit, you quit ever thing else you quit taking out the trash, you quit cleaning the yard, you quit gutting the grass, you quit cleaning the cars" i stop her there and said dam honey thats  enough, i got the message. but i reacon she right. hell i even quit school in the 9th grade. lol won't ask her no more. J/k she didn't say all that. i got slapped in the back of the head for this.

great to hear, keep it up. Just remember that mental stuff will be along to grab you so have a plan, be ready and when your brain starts rationalizing why its ok to just take one - don't listen!  Stopping and staying stopped has been the best thing, I feel so much better and my pain is better managed now than on pills!
