Going on 44 days clean!!

Time does go by faster each day when you keep yourself busy... Even though there are some days I want to just stay home and get high off opiates. The physical withdrawals are almost all gone I still sneeze and have some interputed sleepless nights but that's like 1 or 2 days a week. I crave the drug in the early hours of the morning mainly because that was the best time for me to pop hydrocodien, it was my favorite time to pop them. So I still wake up craving them but after a hour or two it passes, I just get on here and read post. Sometimes I do still feel like I have RLS but maybe cause I have a lot of energy and when I'm sitting I'm ready to get up. Idk just felt like making a question yaaa buddyy

Admit in your NA mtg that you're smokin weed. You are treading on very thin ice, my friend. You may not pick up opiates, but you will start abusing something else (like weed, every other nite is a lot.) I know you don't want to hear it but it's just hard to read this. Good luck:)

Thank you both, ya I haven't smoked in 2 days but I won't lie il probably smoke a few bowls thanksgiving night.. Only thing with the weed is I heard people say "it will cloud your judgement and you'll feel tempted to take the pill" if I ever start to crave the drug (uncontrable urge to pop those pills) then il quit the weed, as of right now I don't think it's harming me.. I mean I'm not a pothead by any means but every other night is my thing. I'm 22 years old, I want to be able to smoke or even drink on occasions you know? I just want to control my drinking/smoking like for example I drank last weekend I have to wait a week that way I don't abuse it. I just want to knock the opiates!!! They say 60 days you'll feel a huge turn so that's my goal right now 60 days. Then 90 then 180 then a year. If I can go that long and manage my weed then il know the weed isn't going to cloud my judgement. I went to a N/A meeting last night "my first one" I didn't tell them I'm still smoking weed but I told them 43 days sober off opiates and they applauded me like I was president so that threw me off haha. Il go back a few more times and see if it helps.

Way to go, that's awesome!

What have you decided about the weed?  Are you still smoking frequently?  Have you tried at least cutting down?

You've done so well thus far, I would hate to see you sabotage your sobriety because you've convinced yourself that it's harmless.  Hang in there bud!
