Going to the bathroom?

When everyone was taking vicodin, did any of you have a hard time going to the bathroom. Not a bowel movement, just regular peeing??

Yes....for us females, when you take pills, it can cause many things like UTI's and all!!! It messes with having a bowel movement too, how long have you been on them? I was taking percocets, which is a bit stronger then vicodin (don't get me wrong that doesn't mean my addiction is any worse though, cause addiction is addiction either way you look at it) But after a while, you get very binded up and have a hard time trying to have a bowel movement!!! I wouldn't have a bowel movement for days sometimes, and then after you do quit... you'll get the runs, after having been constipated for a few days!! It sucks, but to get it out the way is our goal here! I thought at first that I was just scared to have a bowel movement after having my daughter (which was the case too) But everyone is different so it could effect you a little bit different!!! Try drinking coffee, that's always helped me use the bathroom! If  your having problems urinating, you should go to the doc's and get checked...you may have an infection (which isn't abnormal for having been addicted to pills) Good Luck!!

Same here I get very constipated because of the hydro and avinza that I have to take. They have told me I have IBS. Yippie, another label to add to my already long list.

I also have had problems peeing. One day I knew I had to go so bad I could feel it but as soon as I got to the restroom, I ended up sitting there for about 15 mins just trying to pee. It wouldnt come out and I had to push. It scared me to be honest, I thought something was wrong with my kidneys, so I called the doc and he told me it was due to the narcotics in my system.
